We have been DH racing for 25 years- our first serious race was a Solo-Twin
years ago, followed by seven Bermuda races. I have put her up for sale.
I am now racing regularly on the 59 foot with my sons, and not getting proper
use out of Lora Ann.

Sandy Van Zandt - TARTAN-30-C FOR SALE –Mystic, CT
The Tartan-30-C was designed by S&S as a ¾ Tonner. They gave her a 24”
taller rig, 500# more ballast, and 6” more draft than the standard T-30.
I have converted her to a true cutter rig. Both staysail and Yankee are on
“Profurl roller furlers”. All running gear comes back to the cockpit to18 Lewmar
rope clutches. (The only reason to leave the cockpit is to set the spinnaker or
whisker pole)
There are 6-2speed self-tailing Harken winches for Staysail #32, for Yankee #46,
for reefing and halyards #40. 2 Lumar ‘Barton blue” (almost self tailing) for
Running backstay and preventers.
Equipped with Norvane windvane self-steering (similar to a Fleming), and a
“Simrad” tiller pilot (when motoring)
SAILS are: Farrar fully battened Main (2015); 85% Yankee roller furler (2014);

Our mini650 Thunder is for sale, She is a series class RG650 Mini Transat
boat, hull #837, build in 2013. She is very well equipped, in excellent
condition and ready for offshore racing. She has been meticulously maintained
and dry sailed, on an included a road legal aluminum trailer. We have enjoyed
great success with her, in both local Chesapeake bay racing, and various
offshore events to Bermuda. She has won the single handed leg of the Bermuda 1-2
in both 2015 & 2017. Arguably the fastest mini650 in the US right now, beating
prototypes boat for boat.
